While this is a great post, and I agree with the content. Can I just point out that you did not use a sharpie for this? Unless they have released a special new sharpie that is very fine...
That is very observant of you buddy. My first draft was with a Sharpie, but as you point out, the lines were far too thick for writing. So I switched to a combination of a Lyra Aqua Brush Duo (thin end) and a Pentel Pointliner of 0.8mm thickness.
